Meet Our Team of Therapists

Katy Dalton

Owner, Massage Therapist & Esthetician

After growing up in New Mexico I moved to the East Coast in 1990 and began my path to natural health care. When my son was born in 2001, being faced with treating him with pharmaceuticals, my emphasis on natural solutions increased. By 2003, my family and I moved to the mountains of North Carolina. We found our home in the up and coming West Asheville community. Between 2006 to 2008 my journey took me to study massage therapy at the North Carolina School of Natural Healing and at One World Healing Arts Institute in the study of herbalism. By 2013 I had earned my Associate of Arts in Therapeutic Massage as well as obtained my Esthetician License, and trained in Siddha Hot Oil Massage. I am currently obtaining my Eselan Certification with hopes to offer it very soon.

In 2010, I opened Fusion Day Spa here in the heart of West Asheville. My team and I offer the community an array of wellness, relaxation, and beauty options in a comforting professional setting.

Nichole Marie

Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor

I have a great deal of enthusiasm for helping others in their Path to Balance. I have always been interested in the Arts of healing and find myself now immersed in the world of Ayurveda. After High School, I journeyed to college for a Psychology degree and concentrated in Counseling. Shortly after graduation, I felt the need for more experience and taught character education to middle school children at The Leadership School in northern Maine. With a degree and more experience, I then decided to take on many different roles and jobs to really get a feel for the world. This past year I finished a year-long certification program at the Asheville Massage School & Yoga and I am now an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor. During my Ayurveda program, I found myself wanting to stay after 9-hour classes to continue to gain this ancient knowledge. It is truly a passion of mine and I find peace in this holistic lifestyle. My goals are to provide guidance with lifestyle and dietary routines to result in a more balanced daily practice.  I enjoy incorporating cooking, breathing practices, marma work, and most importantly, specific needs of each unique individual.

Haunani Orsillo

 Massage Therapist

Co-creating your healing journey with love and compassion is my priority. The basis of my work is in Lomi, Reiki, and myofascial release. I also use aromatherapy and a blend of modalities that I have picked up over the last 23 years. I have had the opportunity to work on people from many different places (geographically and metaphorically). The richness and honor to bring comfort and relief is such a gift to me.

Ali Burnette

Licensed Nail Technician

I have always been interested in the healing arts. Asheville, having been founded as a medical tourism destination, is a great place to live and practice healing therapies. I have lived here for almost 30 years and my ancestors were one of the founding families in this area. The drive to help visitors and locals alike heal from what ails them runs deep in me. I started my journey in western medicine with a CNA
license with the intention of going into nursing. After learning more about the current medical industry I realized western medicine is not the career path for me. I prefer a more holistic approach to health. In my opinion personal health care and healing starts with preventive care. Maintaining a healthy body or bringing it back to a healthy condition can be as easy as having regular body balancing treatments and I like to start with the feet. When the feet hurt and are out of balance it can cause problems throughout the body. Foot care is such an important part of maintaining a healthy body, yet they are so often overlooked. I earned my manicurist license in 2008 and over the last 10 years have noticed a strong trend towards pedicures focusing on pretty polished nails using a variety of long-lasting yet toxic color
options with a little teaser of a massage and basic nail trimming in a questionably clean and noisy area. I offer a treatment that is different. My pedicure will allow you to fully relax in a quiet private space and receive a customized treatment geared toward rebalancing while staying within the scope of my license. I cannot diagnose any ailments or medically treat any suspected disease. All of our therapists at Fusion Spa take pride in maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe environment and my pedicure area is meticulously cleaned between each guest. I use disposable liners in the foot soak basin and all of the disposable tools and leftover sugar scrub are your gift to take home. My foot treatments are designed to help release tension in your feet and the rest of your body with a soothing massage and cleansing soak while you sit in a comfortable chair, sip on a delicious beverage of your choice, snack on a tasty treat and watch the world go by.
